Aviation thriller 'Runway 34' releasing on April 29 in UAE
The film is directed and produced by Ajay Devgn. It is also co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Sandeep Harish Kewlani, Tarlok Singh Jethi, Hasnain Husaini and Jay Kanujia.

The upcoming aviation thriller Runway 34, starring Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles is set for release on April 29, 2022 in the UAE.
Cinema audiences in the country can expect some edge-of-the-seat action coupled with intense courtroom drama.
Runway 34 is reportedly based on the real life incident of the 2015 Jet Airways Doha-Kochi flight that had a narrow escape after facing difficulties due to poor visibility.
The film is directed and produced by Ajay Devgn. It is also co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Sandeep Harish Kewlani, Tarlok Singh Jethi, Hasnain Husaini and Jay Kanujia. The thriller drama also features Aakanksha Singh and Angira Dhar in key roles.
“While Runway 34 is based on a real-life incident, of course we have added stuff to make it like a film,†said Rakul Preet Singh. “I can’t divulge much about the plot and the twist; all I can say is that there are a lot of difficult decisions that pilots take in times of panic situations.â€
“Thank you for giving me all the love that I’ve received so far. This year is very important and very special because Attack just released and (I have) five more films. I just hope that I’m able to deliver what each one of you expects from me,†she added thanking her fans in the UAE.
Portage Point Partners has appointed Indian-American executive Venkat Sreenivasan as managing director in its Performance Improvement (PI) practice, the firm announced on Oct. 29.
Based in Chicago, he will focus on driving value creation through artificial intelligence and automation, leveraging data-driven insights to accelerate portfolio performance.
Sreenivasan brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise transformation, value creation, and tech-enabled growth strategies. His work spans EBITDA improvement, commercial and operational due diligence, carve-outs, integrations, and sales effectiveness transformations. He has previously partnered with private equity sponsors and Fortune 500 firms to deliver actionable insights for profitable growth.

“Middle market companies are increasingly migrating toward technology-centered business models,” said Arun Lamba, head of Performance Improvement at Portage Point.
“Venkat brings specialized expertise across technology, SaaS, and tech-enabled businesses to support margin expansion and drive scalable growth. His sector expertise will be a valuable addition to our integration solutions platform,” he added.

Before joining Portage Point, Sreenivasan was managing director at KPMG, where he led cross-functional teams across North America and India on transformation and transaction engagements. Earlier, he served as a partner at AlixPartners, working closely with private equity clients on performance improvement projects.
